Lodge Amenities
Alta Lodge is a historic mountain inn rooted in long traditions of hospitality. The Lodge’s amenities cater to guests who come for the skiing and stay for an experience that makes them feel right at home – from a ski-in/ski-out location and complimentary morning yoga to our included hot breakfast with house-made baked goods, and chef-prepared four-course dinner.
Room Amenities
In keeping with our traditional lodge atmosphere, there are no televisions in our guest rooms. Complimentary wifi is available throughout the Lodge. All guest rooms have the following amenities:

- Aveda bath products
Each room includes a ski locker located on the bottom level of the Lodge, with ski-in/ski-out access to the slopes right outside the locker room door.
Hot Pools, Sauna, Sundeck
The Lodge has two saunas–one for women and one for men–and shared hot pools with thirty-foot windows facing Alta’s famous ski run, High Rustler. The sundeck has wonderful views of the ski area.
Afternoon Tea
Join us daily for afternoon tea during the winter season. Enjoy tea breads, biscotti, shortbread cookies, and other homemade treats, along with a wonderful variety of teas. Our server also brews loose tea to order. Relax in front of the fire or join others and re-cap the great day on the slopes. Afternoon Tea is served from 3:00-5:00 pm in the Deck Room.
Free Kids' Club
Alta Lodge is the perfect destination for a family ski trip. Our complimentary Kids’ Club is designed to make your Alta vacation more enjoyable for both you and your children.
Kids’ Club includes supervised after-skiing activities, crafts and games, and a special early kids’ dinner. During our Early and Spring seasons, kids stay free in their parents’ room.

We offer complimentary shuttles to and from Alta’s Alf Engen Ski School, located at the Albion Base (beginners’ area) in the morning and afternoon. Both Alta Lodge and resort community shuttles are available throughout the day for the Alta area.
Sitzmark Club
Meet old and new friends alike for après ski and enjoy a specialty-crafted cocktail or your favorite beverage in our classic bar, with its warm ambiance and view of High Rustler. The Sitzmark opens daily at 4:00 pm in the winter season. Guests must be at least 21 years old to enter.
Morning Yoga
Start your day in the mountains with a complimentary one-hour yoga class during the winter season. Join us in the Sitzmark from 7 am to 8 am daily. The class is open to all ability levels. Mats and props are available for guest use.
Massage
Enjoy a massage in the privacy of your room by a specialized therapist from Cottonwood Canyon Massage. Whether you are looking for recovery or relaxation, Cottonwood Canyon Massage is the perfect fit for outdoor enthusiasts and relaxing vacationers alike. You may schedule an appointment with Cottonwood Canyon Massage in advance, or when you arrive at the Lodge.

Free WiFi
Free wireless internet access is available throughout the lodge.
No Smoking
There is no smoking (including no vaping or e-cigarette use) in Alta Lodge. Guests may smoke outside the Lodge; by Utah law, there is no smoking within 25 feet of entryways.
