Lodge Culture

Alta Lodge is a family-owned ski & summer lodge located at the base of Alta Ski Area in Little Cottonwood Canyon. The Lodge has ski-in-ski-out access to Alta’s steep terrain and 547+ inches on average of the best snow on earth. We have about 80 employees in the winter and 40 during the summer, who share our commitment to outstanding service and creating a friendly and comfortable atmosphere for our guests from all over the world. We strive for excellence in our work and are equally passionate about our recreation and community in Alta. The rich history combined with true ski culture at Alta Lodge is unmatched. Many of our employees stay with us for multiple seasons, year-round, or make their careers here at the Lodge.
