Summer and fall seasons are special times of year at Alta Lodge. The cooler temperatures in the mountains offer a welcome retreat from summer's heat. Only 45 minutes from Salt Lake City, we're a great location for a weekend getaway, business retreat, private party or wedding. Just like our winter skiers, once guests find us in the summer, they return again and again for the mountain lodge ambiance, great food and attentive service.

In the summer, Alta Lodge is a traditional mountain inn set among wildflowers and high peaks, in the cool mountain air of Utah's Wasatch Range – yet only 45 minutes from Salt Lake City. Winter
Alta Lodge is the classic Alta, Utah ski lodging. Located on the mountain at Alta Ski Area, our ski in/ski out location, along with warm ambience, personal service, and exceptional dining, make Alta Lodge the place for a traditional ski vacation.
