Jumpstart your ski season with our early winter exclusive Women’s Skills Camp! Elevate your skiing prowess alongside like-minded women who share your passion for the slopes. Led by expert coaches from Alta’s Alf Engen Ski School, this program is tailored for dedicated skiers eager to enhance their abilities. Through on-snow drills, video analysis, technical presentations, and ample ski time, you’ll refine your technique and optimize equipment performance. Experience the perfect blend of camaraderie and comfort at Alta Lodge, making this camp an unforgettable ski vacation.
This program emphasizes skill development over terrain difficulty (and is not dependent upon terrain). We will be skiing runs most suited to the camp objectives, as low snow conditions may exist during the early season, potentially limiting access to some of Alta’s legendary terrain.
It is perfect for intermediate to advanced skiers ready to improve their skiing!
This immersive women’s specific program is targeted towards solid intermediate through advanced skiers who meet or exceed the following skills:
To complement our efforts on snow, we will be joined by special guest, Alicia Rojas M.D., who will share how our brains learn in response to challenges and ultimately affect our sport performance through a Growth vs. Fixed mindset.
Dr. Rojas will share tools to help optimize performance and, specifically, how to accelerate learning. Mind-body exercises to help ground these concepts will be introduced and offered daily so that each participant can apply them as they practice throughout the camp.
* Demo skis are included in the camp package rate, but we recommend that you attend with your own boots. If you are looking to purchase new boots, please consider arriving a day early to optimize your purchase.
Lift tickets are sold separately and may be purchased in advance, online through Alta Ski Area, or upon arrival at Alta Lodge.
