Weekend Bliss

If powder skiing is your idea of happiness, there was plenty of happiness to be found at Alta over the weekend. Not only did it snow more than was expected, the quality of the snow was hard to surpass. Pillows of soft, velvety snow that seemed bottomless fell all day Saturday so that run after run was more divine skiing. The mountain is so filled in now with that there is a 90-inch base.  Today we have colder temperatures keeping snow conditions great.  There will be more snow this week with a big storm coming in on Thursday, so plan accordingly if you missed out last weekend.
