Après Ski for the 12-Under Crowd
A complimentary Alta Lodge amenity for over 25 years! Our Kids Club program was designed to make ski vacations easier and more enjoyable for the entire family. Following a great day on the slopes, Kids Club is available après ski at Alta Lodge from 4:30-8:30 pm daily. It’s a great way to meet new friends and ski buddies and have fun through a variety of activities.
Although our program is geared toward younger guests ages 4 to 12, children of all ages are welcome as long as one-on-one supervision is not required.
Join the Club!
Our supervised program offers arts and crafts, games, or more outdoor play. Your children can sign up for an early kid-friendly dinner with special menu options, or enjoy a family meal during regular dinner service. Wrap up the evening with a movie, or one of our pre-planned special events.
Your children are invited to attend as many or as few of our activities as they wish during their stay.
Daily Schedule
- Gear up after breakfast and catch the 8:45 am Lodge shuttle to Albion Basin for Ski School or the Alta Children’s Center. Afternoon pick up is at 3 pm.
- Enjoy an afternoon snack at Tea Time at 3:30 pm.
- Head to the Kids Club at 4:30 pm where you’ll meet friends and find all sorts of things to do, from oodles of crafts, games, and movies to sledding (weather permitting).
- Have an early “kid-friendly” dinner at 5:30 pm.
- Head back to Kids Club to finish up your projects/games, relax, and watch a movie.
- We’ll say goodnight at 8:30 pm so you can rest up for another great day!
Meet our Staff
Jenny is thrilled to join our team as Kids Club Manager and to welcome our younger guests for a fun and memorable experience! She has over eight years of childcare experience, including tutoring and working at summer camps. Jenny is passionate about conservation, and in her free time, you can find her backpacking, climbing, skiing, or trail running.
Isabel is excited to deepen her involvement within the Alta community as our Kids Club Assistant. She has worked at Alta and on staff for the Alta Summer Camp for the past six years, while also attending college. You’ll likely see Isabel on the mountain—skiing, hiking, or feeding the birds in her free time.
