100+ Inches of Snow

Storms over the past week have brought the base depth at Alta to over 100 inches.  With more and more of the mountain filling in with each storm we receive, the skiing just keeps getting better. March is a month that historically receives an average of 99.66 inches of snow, according to Alta Ski Area’s Snowfall History web page. We’ll keep making turns and see how March shakes out this season.

Our third Women’s Ski Camp this season is underway this weekend with another scheduled March 16-20.  More women are discovering Alta skiing and the ski camps have a way of converting women to Alta “lifers”.  You may have noticed there  are more women skiing Alta each season. We’re happy to see them and hope the trend continues.
