Wine Pairing Dinner

Friday, September 11, 2020 – 5 PM to 8 PM

Enjoy an intimate summer evening and outdoor dining experience in the mountains at Alta Lodge, as we bring back one of our favorite summer events – our wine pairing dinner. Five delicious courses prepared by Chef Sam Wolfe will be expertly paired with wines from our host, Jeff Withey.

MENU
Appetizer: Ahi Tuna Poke, Sweet Corn Gazpacho with Tomatillo Chile Crisp
Salad: Tomato Carpaccio, Burrata, Sumac Vinaigrette
Main: Seared Scallop, Shiitake Syrup, Crispy Red Onion Haystack
Main: Grilled Lamb Pop, Crisp Gnocchi, Baba Ganoush, Mint Pesto
Dessert: Poached Pear and Gorgonzola Galette, Hazelnut Brittle, Cream Anglaise

5-course Dinner –  $70 per person
5-paired Wines – $30 per person

*Each wine selection is priced individually and may be ordered separately, as required by Utah law.
$30 is the total wine price if each wine selection is ordered.

LODGING
Make a night of it and complete your evening with a stay at the Lodge.

Standard room – $130 per night single or double occupancy
Lodging rates include continental breakfast on Saturday.

Jeff Withey is is a long time Alta skier and wine professional.  He is a Territory Manager at  Young’s Market Company and a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW).
