Women's Ski Camp - Beginning & IntermediateDecember 3-7, 2009* If you’ve always wanted to learn to ski, or make the transformation from a beginning to an intermediate skier, this is the program for you. You’ll spend three days in the beautiful Wasatch Mountains at Alta Ski Area with certified PSIA women ski instructors from the Alf Engen Ski School. Following a hearty breakfast each morning, instructors meet with participants for a two-hour lesson, break for lunch, and then reconvene for a two-hour afternoon lesson. If you’re a beginning skier, you’ll learn how to stop, turn, and control your speed. For intermediate skiers--those who mostly make parallel turns on blue runs--you will sharpen their skiing skills and gain more confidence on the blue slopes. For additional details, check our FAQ page. While staying at Alta Lodge, you’ll experience a traditional ski lodge vacation with après ski at the Sitzmark Club and group dining. In your spare time, you can enjoy the hot tubs and saunas or arrange for a relaxing in-room massage. In the lobby, you’ll find afternoon tea served from 3:30 – 5:00. For women 18 and older, this program aims to get you on your skis having fun, and thinking about your next ski adventure before you head home.
